Meet the Team
Andie Spearman, Director Student Enterprise Program
Andie is a senior marketing major from Dunwoody, GA. She is the Director of the Berry College Student Enterprise Program, in addition to being the Student Director of the Gate Scholars Program. Andie began her enterprise career as a Marketing Specialist her freshman year. Andie says, "The Enterprise Program has taught me leadership, communication, and business skills that will help me in my career after Berry." Andie recently accepted an full-time job position at Georgia-Pacific, so she is well on her way to meeting her career goals.
Ben Lord, General Manager Jersey Milk
Ben is a freshman English and Economics double major from Fitzgerald, GA. He works with Berry's Student Enterprise Program as a Marketing & Communications Assistant and specifically with the Jersey Milk Enterprise as a Customer Service Representative. Ben is also part of the Honors Program and a Gate of Opportunity Scholar. After graduating, he plans to obtain a law degree and pursue a career as a public servant in the legislative arena. Ben is grateful for the opportunity to develop the leadership/communication skills that will be invaluable throughout his future career.
Joanna Logan, General Manager Viking Creations
Joanna is a senior Accounting major and Economics minor from Knoxville, Tennessee. She is the General Manager of Viking Creations. Joanna is also a member of the Women's soccer team! She can't wait to use the skills she has learned at the enterprises in the real world.
Mamadou Soumahoro, General Manager Viking Furniture
Mamadou is a senior Biology major from Snellville, Georgia. He is currently the General Manager for Viking Furniture. He is also a Defensive Lineman for the Berry College football team. He believes the skills he is learning through the Student Enterprise Program will better equip him for life after college.
Savannah Norman, General Manager Angus Beef
Savannah Norman is currently the General Manger of Angus Beef. She is a senior animal science major and she loves the hands-on experience in the cattle industry that the enterprises have given her. She has learned how to manage a group of steers and a team of employees. Savannah is also an active member of the Georgia Cattlemen's Association and has recently done an internship with the Rockmart Farmers' Market.
